    It’s been awhile since I updated this but it’s finished. If I didn’t buy the entire drivetrain out of another truck I would suspect I have completed this swap for $600, give or take. Very easy swap, driveshaft shortening is about all you cannot do at home in the drieveway, oh and pcm programming.

    I like gaskets, pain to scrape off but you don’t have to worry about leaking cause you didn’t clean out he oil from the bolt holes. Just my .02

    Have you checked pin figment? Possible loose terminals can cause intermittent issues, also I wouldn’t rely on that scanner either. Make sure you don’t have loose terminals also have you replaced the pcs? Check the connections in the transmission and the connections into the transmission.

    Use air to blow it out, possibly the spring broke. It’s not uncommon.

    Just make sure you get the upgraded traction shell, do not reuse yours. Get a brushing kit, replace them all. Watch monster transmission videos they are pretty good, any questions just ask and submit pictures.

    Check the injector for leaks, fuel sitting in the intake can cause the same hard start issue, you almost have to clear flood it right off the bat.

    Transfer case inputs changed, transfer case in everything is finished but the cooler lines and rear drive shaft it’s 2” to long! Might get it started this weekend!

    I've always loved the BFG’s numerous sets in lots of different trucks. Got 60k off one set in my 96 back with the first KO. Now that I have a family BFG’s are out. Lot so of guys are running the new Falkens and getting great results off road and high mileage on road. Just my .02
