    Well I got my motor all finished up. Put some paint on the headers. And my tuner finished the trans last week just gotta go get it! Here's some pics. I'm extremely happy how she looks.

    So searching around on many forums I hear that the speed engineering headers for a c10 should work, then I hear that the headers for a 99-07 will work......... so I think I'll test that out and if none work then I'll go with the schonefells or what not. Just gotta check on their return...

    ALRIGHT! valves lapped, everything cleaned, and new btr .660 springs installed with a .030 shim on the intakes! quick question! Im looking for some stainless long tubes for it but cant find a thing, Anyone have any information on this!? Pics coming soon pulling the old 350 turd out this weekend!

    got a little work on the heads done..... really wasted a lot of time withmaking a spring compressor ha to cheap to buy one i had all the stuff anyway. All you need is a welder, something to cut with a c clamp and a piece if flat bar. BOOM i actually saw it on youtube somewhere. here some pics...

    SC, its pressed on and there is a certain orientation so if you do it, get the other reluctor and bring it to a performance shop as you need to heat the new reluctor and then use a special allignment tool which is $250. I paid $50 to get mine swapped

    I would have left the bottom end alone and jut swapped the cam if I wouldn't have had to swap the reluctor. Ohwell anyway not much going on with the motor waiting on parts now how ever I did get all the covers cleaned. It looked like somebody had gouged them up.... how I have no idea! I didn't...

    He did the same to my buddies 6.0 tahoe. he runs t6 but yeah I too was thinking that 15w was some heavy stuff. Im in louisiana. Yeah thats what he was saying, he also stressed sucking the pan try and cavitating the pump since ill be using a stock truck pan he said no go.

    UPDATE: engine builder said I need to run a stock LS6 pump. and to run T6 15w-40 or mobil1 15w-50. so on that note anyone looking to buy a Melling High Volume oil pump melling10355 I paid 154= shipping if someone wants it ill sell it for 150 shipped.

    ill get with him tomorrow. come to find out it was only main bearings that were .001 over. I trust jeff hes been building LS motors and trans for a while now. Ill keep you guys posted

    S/C no clue, my LS engine guy said youll be good on everything as far as clearances. he said if its out a litle bit itll be ok. No boost for now all motor!

    Its a custom cut from comp 231 243 .598 .627 112 lsa Its a cam my bussy had from a motor he built and the customer wanted to change the cam so he kept it, hes got a few on hand so we can play with it a little

    alright Finished the bottom end still gotta put the oil pan on along with the oil pump, but its coming soon I did go with the melling high volume pump, figured why not. I also installed king oversized crank and rod bearings, new hastings rings, I did hone and reclean the block and slid the cam in.

    all cleaned up hopefully tomorrow I can get the reluctor on and finish the bottom end, I went with king bearing .001x, as per my ls engine guys recommendation. MAN THESE LS BLOCKS ARE SHARP!

    Also i wanna note this wont be a daily I have my tacoma for that! but it will be that street truck that get pulled out beat on and put up!
