how hard is it to swap engines.

I have a 1998 c2500 with the vortec 350 in it. I am sadly convinced that one or more of the rod bearings is shot. :banghead: For the cost involved I think a full engine replacement is the best option. I have never pulled an engine before... I need a true and honest assessment of how hard it...

RTV Sealant on Oil pan gasket???
