Never ending TCC mystery problem (4l80e)

i've been looking into it and the current cylinders that are misfiring is 1 and 3. at highway speeds with higher load the misfires count increases. I can't seem to understand why. I tried swapping the spark plugs and wires around and i looked into injectors and the wiring harness for the...

Never ending TCC mystery problem (4l80e)

The problem has always been there. I really doubt theres anything wrong with the solenoid since it i can command it on and off without any problems. I just wish the PCM told me at least a hint

Never ending TCC mystery problem (4l80e)

Oh yeah sorry its 1999 suburban. I got the last two o2s tuned out by black bear, I tried messaging them but got no answer for some reason. it "senses" some misfire under 60 too but not the same amount. The misfires is just random, its never just 1 cylinder. Compression is good too as this is an...

Never ending TCC mystery problem (4l80e)

For the last 3 years i have been having a problem with my TCC that i can't seem to figure out. If im going over 60mph for more than 15 seconds the TCC will quickly disengage. But if i drive under 60mph the TCC works just as it should without a single problem. Theres NO fault codes at all...

    3.08 to 3.42

I went from 3.42 to 4.10 (4l80e) and it was absolutely worth it if you live in a area with a lot of hills. It used to struggle a lot in uphills in 4th, overdrive and tcc locked but not anymore

No radiator cap on 1996 6.5L. How to drain and how to fill

Just fill up the reservoir until its full, then start the engine and turn the bleed screw until water starts coming out of it. When i used to drain my radiator i just disconnected the lower rad hose. I tried to use the normal drain but it was seized so damn hard and the stream went everywhere so...

    V Maxx intake spacer

Yes a little bit of everything. Like the breather hose that goes in the intake box isn't really long enough when the intake box sits higher, i could just barely get it on and stay. The fuel lines and pcv are also a problem but easy to fix. Also the vortec box now rubs a tiny bit against the hood...

    V Maxx intake spacer

I have it and it did actually make a difference over 4000rpm. I'd say its worth it if you can get it for a decent price

3/4 ton calipers on 2wd Tahoe??

I had the same problem with the police brake pads hitting the rotor on my 4x4. I ended up having to use an angle grinder and take some off the pads

    ***** Any 2" / 4" lowers trucks out there???? ******

Well no as it adds up to 4.5" in the rear. I kinda want to go to the 2" shackle but I'm not sure if I want to notch my frame yet but the combination i have now works pretty good. My only complaint is that the 3.5" lowering leafs are kinda spongy soft. I use a set for KYB caprice shocks with...

    ***** Any 2" / 4" lowers trucks out there???? ******

I don't, no vibrations at all. I think my 1 inch lowering shackles helped correct it a little bit but i also use a 9.5" rear end

    I'm an idiot...Torsion Bar Question 97 Burb

There is supposed to be an arrow on the end of the bar to tell you which way it should twist. I don't think it matters which is front and back but instead which side of the truck it came off as the bars twist the opposite direction

    Some thoughts on mods

You shouldn't need to shorten the driveshaft when only doing the 9.5 conversion. I only had to shorten mine after i lowered it 4.5 inches

6” drop in rear without a flip kit?

i ended up going with 1" drop shackles and 3.5" drop leafs and well i wouldn't recommend it. the leafs are really bouncy like if you had bad shocks. Before my truck was way too stiff IMO with the oem leafs and now its too soft. Have to take it really slow over speedbumps so i don't fly out of...

    Lowering a 93 K1500? Is it possible?

I have just lowered my 2dr 4x4 and lowering it anymore than 2-3 inches in the front is not really possible as the upper ball joint angle becomes quite extreme. If you can easily find a 2wd instead i would rather do that
