No crank, no start, stumped.
I've been helping my buddy put a new frame under his truck as the old one had rotted away. So the whole cab, bed, front clip, and drivetrain were transferred over to a clean southern frame and were just about wrapping things up. Problem is, when you turn the key, nothing happens. Very loud knock out of nowhere!
Hello, new to the forum hoping to save my beloved truck. It's a 1998 2500 5.7 with a 5-speed. I bought it in the spring and first thing I did was check the fluids.
