Good call on Crank sensor. After closer inspection, I found that I bent a pin on that sensor. That was the ticket! Many Thanks!

Been looking into that crank sensor. It looks like I have to buy a diagnostic tool and reset the codes?

I had to get a new timing cover case on this 97 1/2 ton The crank sensor seem to set in further than the other cover. Is there a crank sensor adjustment?

I just replaced timing cover, and subsequent oil pan gasket. I won't entertain you with the trials and tribulations of that wrestling match. But is it back together, and now won't start. It turns over good but that is about it. I have gone back over and checked connections and can not find...

Timing cover/oil pan gasket

Looking for any new ideas on how to remove an oil pan to replace gasket to complete timing cover gasket job. So far I have the starter out, the exhaust dropped, timing cover removed, and motor mounts pulled, and motor jacked up, but oil pan is still shy of coming out. At this point I have...
