    Every piece of my steering system is brand new including a 12.5 to 1 Redhead steering box. It’s still not as good as my bone stock, 130,000 mile ‘04. There’s no way I’m spending the money to go to rack and pinion, but I have no doubt that it’s better.

    You’re wasting time and money replacing that sensor to chase a noise. It’s more likely to be u-joints.

    Don’t do that on an 88-94. Take out the two fasteners on the left of the vent. There are clips at the top and bottom of the vent on the back. The actual vent is held in with a clip on the back. Don’t try to pry the vent out.

    6.0 with small cam, 4L80E, 3.42’s did 342/370 to the tires.

    Yup, just did a 6.0 and 80E on my ‘93. It’s a big change from the 4.3.

    I also went from 3.42’s to 4.10’s in my ‘04. I expected it to feel like some low geared hot rod but it’s great. That’s one of the reasons I went 4.10 in my ‘93. Also my ‘93 has a 4L80E so I needed some gear to keep it from being a dog.

    Personally, I wouldn’t spend the money for that small of a change. I’d go 3.73’s at the minimum. I just went from 3.42’s to 4.10’s and a Truetrac.

    You’re right about the radio wires, I believe the red plug is for the cruise that plugs into the VSSB. The rest also plug into the VSSB.
