yup. Big base there. I'd probably have to swing by a few member's areas while I was down there. I'll be in Texas for at least 2-3 months then off to my main schooling which could be anywhere from Japan to Florida.

my best friend is going to be in Texas for basic in a month or 2

That lakebed was unreal deceptive. I was a foot from hard gravel there. It sucked it in like glue. A marine vet girl buddy of mine was standing next to me, and she goes "This s*(& woulda' stuck a bradley".

Well last night I was out messing around with my buddies and I ended up burying my truck...... To the frame. I just happened to be with two Jeeps one with a four inch lift and 33s and another with a two inch lift and 31s. They tried tag teaming me to get me out and the smaller one buried itself. The other one then tried to pull him out and buried himself to the frame hahaha. We were all stuck as you could possibly be and I called my buddy with an 84 K1500 on 35s and he came and got me out. It actually took him awhile because we were in sand and I was laying frame. After that I went in and got out the bigger jeep easily but the smaller one well that was a different story. took me a while and a few yanks but I got him out then dragged him all the way out to the hard ground. Anyways here is a pic of the beggining. It got worse because this was before I really tried getting out by the end the tires were completely swallowed hahaha

Got another one! Cruising a river road near North Bend, WA and hit one of the many mudpits along the side on our way back home.

Swung a bit wide and ended up digging down into some soft muck.

Got the bumper stuck to, so I had to dig that out before I was going anywhere. That WARN bumper has a shovel/axe holder underneath which seems like pretty poor placement considering I've gotten the bumper buried twice so far.. Thankfully I keep my shovel in the cab, will probably just remove the bracket so there's less to get hung up.



About 20 minutes of moving mud, a whole lotta rockin, and having my buddy sit in the bed got me out. Got a real nice coat of mud all around.
