just did the GMT 2500 brake upgrade for my 98 heavy half z71 with the 14 bolt rear.
I had already done the one ton wheel cylinders a couple weeks ago when i rebuilt the rear brakes
at that time i tried to upgrade to the NBS master cylinder but could not get the front brake line flare to seal on the adapter, replaced brake line and ogt a different adapter and had same problem
the 1 ton front calipers are AWESOME.
went on easy, had to grind a bit of the mounting points on the dirver side but everything else was spot on. quick gravity bleed and on the road. truck feels safe now in traffice, with original brakes it was scary, i left lotta room for stopping everywhere i went {still a good idea these days!}
thanks to all the folks that pioneered this
