This is My 1994 Silverado, I've had this truck for a few years and have done a few things but have mainly been collecting parts. I wanted to go ahead and start documenting things just to track my progress.

These pictures are from when I first got it before I did anything. It just had drop shackles and someone had clamped the front springs.

The truck obviously isn't perfect but it has zero rust in it. The truck also had a horrible oil leak, a vacuum leak, no front shocks, as well as some other obvious cosmetic issues. But with the drop and wheel/tire combination it rubbed pretty bad.

Here's a couple of pictures after I got it cleaned up when I got it back home.

I started with some cosmetic stuff at first just because it was the easiest. I had the windows tinted as well as putting some new light housings in the front. Some sport mirrors. And I also picked up a new grill that I wanted to paint match and a smooth front bumper

After that I decided to address the vacuum leak which was just a cracked line on the back of the tbi unit. And I got lucky on the oil leak because the previous owner installed some junk chrome valve covers and didn't put any gaskets on the new valve covers. I went to the junk yard and got a set of factory valve covers and while I was there, I found an air cleaner in decent shape and cleaned them both up and put them on. I didn't take any pictures of the next task just because it snowballed out of control. I wanted to put a new ac compressor on the truck, and the condenser was bad. Tried to change it and twisted the line off. And to no surprise when I tried to replace the dryer the evaporator core did the same thing, so the hole dash had to come out and it pretty much had fallen apart under the cover that the previous owner had installed. But I rebuilt everything including the hvac box with new gaskets and it's up and running now.

I didn't really like the look of the chevorlet grill so I got a gmc grill and a billet insert and had a buddy paint it for me.

I also pulled out all the junk suspension that was under the truck and bought a Belltech 4/7 drop.
Front: 2" spindles/ 2" springs
Rear: 6" with the flip kit and a 1" shackle
While I was in there I replaced upper/lower control arms and tie rods, wheel bearings, rotors and pads. And got an alignment.

I found a set of wheels for cheap, that for now will move the truck around and makes it more drivable. The rear tires scrub just the tiniest amount due to them being too big. But it's better than the rallies that were on it.

I had to go another inch in the rear to level it because these rear tires measure almost 32" tall and the truck had a rake on it.

Thats pretty much how the truck is sitting now with the exception of a tonneau cover. Towards the middle of October the 4l60 started giving me issues. It's drivable however you have to leave it in 3rd until 45mph and then manually shift it into O.D.

I've collected a pile of parts for the next round of upgrades:
-Billet Specialties Streetlites F:18x6 ,R:17x10
-Mickey Thompson E/T Street 305/45 17
-Mickey Thompson Front sportsman 28x6x18
-Moser Fab9/back brace, narrowed 4", 4.11 gear, Aluminum 3rd member, True-trac limited slip, Torino big bearing ends and Wilwood Dynalite 4 piston brakes, 5/8 Screw in studs, billet 1350 yoke
- FTI Th400 (Stage 5) with brake and billet valve body
-Derale trans cooler with fan and -6 lines
-Motion Raceworks operator shifter
-Powermaster starter
-Cal-tracs bars

I still need to pick up a 6 piston Wilwood kit for the front brakes. I'm still up in the air on which brake master I'm going to get, probably go with one of the electric units. And I am going to get an anti-roll bar to install for the rear when I do the 9in swap. I still need rear shocks. I'm considering doing the split mono leaf in the rear, and ditching the drop spindles for a set of drop lca's and a set if the moroso trick springs but I've still got some time to figure that out.

Looks good. Nice work and the stance looks great.
Thanks dude!
Looking good! What are the wheel and tire specs? Looking to upgrade mine and I really like the stance off yours!
I appreciate it. The fronts are perfect, however the back is a little tall. Those wheels are American Racing VN515
Fronts are 17x7 with a 225/65/17
Rears are 17x9.5 with a 5.5 bs and a 265/70/17
Nice work. A lot of work fast too. Where did you get the grill and billet insert?
Thank you.
