I found a gauge cluster from a 93. I love the tach. My dad would have loved that. I couldn't tell if the bulbs worked until it was dark. I plan to swap them with leds anyways.
So I've gotten in some parts. I have some nice mid legnth headers and a y pipe to fit it from flowtech. The headers are ceramic coated but the y pipe wasn't. I painted it with high temp paint and I'm going to cure it in the oven (hope I don't get yelled at. Haha)
I've done a lot of searching and reading but I want to make sure I understand everything correctly.
I have a 94 c1500 with 5 bolt 15 Inch wheels. I put some awesome 31 inch tires on them and I'd like to re gear
I should be able to buy a 14 bolt rear in a 6 lug pattern and swap it in. I'm...
Mine was cycling at a rhythmic rate. On 5 seconds off 5 seconds. It just seemed wrong to me. Now it's staying on for a long time and is running me out of the car it's so cold.
That's what I meant.
It's weird because a few people I talked to told me it was normal for it to cut on and off. Now it's staying on and the ac works a lot better. That's how I expected it to work myself.
I appreciate all the help.
I can't figure out what color code I need for my truck. I looked for an 8xx rpo code and I don't see it. My interior is a dark blue color. I ordered some gauges and the pods to install them are black and I'd like to paint them to match.
I'm sorry if this has been covered. I did search but...
you can remove it and install a high flow from what the shop told me. I know of a guy who does exhaust work out of his garage nights and weekends. I know he will do it. I'm just not sure I want the headache of dealing with inspectors.
i may be fine with a dual "cat back" exhaust. I'm putting headers on and I can get a nice wider y tube for them. It's a 305 anyways. Anything I do is going to be better than what I have. I just need to get more info. I might be able to drive to North Carolina and have it done too. I don't mind...
