Drove it around today but roads were full of salt so I gave her a wash after. She’s not perfect but I try and keep her salt free as much as possible

Took the truck out of hibernation early since there isn’t much winter up here. Found a red 400 at the library so I had to park by it.

My GMT 800

Got my new suspension on! New upper control arms lower ball joints and pitman and idler arm. Got it aligned and got a new camber adjustment kit on both sides. Drives great now parked it back in the garage because the snow is flying here so it’s nice and safe away from the salt.

Drove it to get some compost for the garden and then got a car wash parked it over as much I could to squeeze the snow blower past it and unhooked the battery for winter. All tucked away until I order suspension parts and get that done this winter.

Conventional 5W-30 No Longer Available?

Doesn’t surprise me since the majority of cars now require it the companies aren’t going to keep making it to sell 20 bottles a month. I haven’t noticed but I also use synthetic in most everything. The Buick gets whatever is cheapest but even that most times ends up being a blend.
