Made the smart choice & just replaced the fluid with OEM cover. Considering the 4.56 gears were put in 2 years ago, there wasn’t much metal fillings on the magnet & fluid was in half decent shape. But now I’m good for a long time.
Wow lots of advice/opinions on this one. I did read elsewhere like was mentioned about the 75-140 being the better option.. I do run between 3k to 3500rpm towing heavy for hours at a time. I’ll have to do a bit more homework before I make a choice.. I do like the idea that some aftermarket...
I’ve never really thought of this before tbh… but I was thinking of changing my gear oil as it hasn’t been changed in a year & a half when the new 4.56 gears went in. I got home last nite after a 120mile tow trip… pull about 70mph entire way.. got home & put hand on stock diff cover…. Damn it...

I was averaging between 7-10mpg depending on imhow heavy my foot is rite now.. so I was thinking more power, easier to pull/fuel mileage… but I could be wrong.. I’ve been thinking about a 6.0L swap as well… BUT I’ve already got this set up.. is what has me wanting to utilize it…
@L31MaxExpress I have researched your comment in my other thread for a while now…
I have found a new Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger! However it’s $3800 after tax! Plus install & the MSD Boost Retard Box… so this will run me about 7k for everything. Good ole Canada for ya!
So my quest for MORE...
Figured out the issue... took a while but live n learn. The new HP Fuel Pump was over powering the Regulator. It was spiking to 15psi. He addressed that & boom idles without any hiccups. New gauge going on regulator to keep eye on pressure.
