Need more room, can this be deleted?
That is what the hood latch bolts to. The slot on the left is the safety catch. I suppose you could cut off the bottom below the safety catch and brace it, but that is asking for the hood to come open at a freeway speeds. i Wouldn’t trust it without hood pins and those aren’t the most visually...- Tomcatguy

Phantom dually help
There used to be a guy around here that had one done that way. He was running 15×15 draglite wheels and 33×21.50 et streets. I always thought it was the coolest truck in town.
