Slowlaned

Names Aaron, people in my area call me OBS Aaron.. I don't really call myself that, but the Name kinda stuck after a few years meetin and greetin and selling custom chevy an gmc OBS parts At "cruisin' the gut" here in Vancouver, WA. (its called cruising the couve now, but its always gonna be the gut to me.) look for it, our city-wide open car cruise/show right down main street. That is if you are ever in the northwest in mid July -early August. Come and you will most likely see me and what last year everyone dubbed "the black G-mon", (they mean GMC-demon, which I'm not a huge fan of either, I just call it my truck, or slow.. sometimes son-of-a-*****..) Right now and for the last year I have been building all one-off, fully custom parts, mostly for obs gmcs an chevys, but have done 2 grilles for older fords and 3 different "grumpers" for a few "yotas" around town. Last year I realized I could make a small living fabbing parts to my local guys, and after a year scraping by, and a short cruising season I managed to find an "investor" for this half-baked idea of mine. (can you believe it was actually a BANK?! someone was on their last day when that was approved). I have made most of my loan payments this last year selling Simple things like bed rails, or custom cat-eye grilles. (the smallest things make people so much prouder of their rides) just recently though I've started moving towards upscaling and branching out, and getting in touch with past customers to create molds of my original designs.

I am also Currently working on a website that you can all use to order them! I never post pictures on here of parts unless they are on my actual truck, because I think this kind of forum is for owned trucks driven by the members here, but when it's up and running I will announce the official website opening on here and a few other chev, gmc, and 1500, classic truck forums, planned for may 1st, 2019, but not official yet.

WHAT I CURRENTLY DO SELL AND ROUGH PRICING:

if you want to see the 2 parts that I do sell online and ship at the moment, you can see the front bumper cover and bedrails on my "avatar" truck picture and the making of the originals in depth in my build thread) those are the only two unique pieces I readily make and ship right now, the bumper cover i make 2 versions of, one that's 7" lower than the bumper (that's whats pictured on my truck now, it scrapes a small amount of the bottom rubber or steel [your choice] pad on steep grades and some driveways with a 4" front susp. drop) and 4" low version of the cover, which is 1" lower than a stock plastic valance. So please don't contact me saying that it ripped off on object x. Or whatever, cuz I have ran the 7" lower version with a 4" front drop for 2 and a half years now with only minor issues and definitely no ripping off. Price on the covers is $200 for 4" version, no pad. $300 for 7"version with choice of 1/4" black rubber or spark making bare steel pad. always seem to have at least one person who wants the bedrails tho, so I can just tell u now they are $200 per shortbed set, street version with only two posts, front and back. and $250 per longbed set, two posts. I also made versions that have a third post and also a 4 post version for people who need to use them as real tie-downs. $25 extra for 3post, $50 extra for 4post. (so for a longbed that needs to tie down some real stuff, using 2" (I wouldn't go bigger than 1.5")pipe, in say, Florida, the price is $400 even plus the expense of your preffered shipping method from the Pacific Northwest to your address in Florida. So think about shipping an 8' longx 1' wide x 6" deep package weighing just over 50lb. And it adds up quickly. However if you live in the same area and need a set for a short bed, or smaller truck, just for looks, it then becomes a $200 flat price, plus the price of shipping a 5-6' long x 6" wide x 4" deep package weighing just under 25lbs. If you have relatives or friends closer that can pick up the pieces that is fine too, just let me know in an email. Everything right now is shipped at your expense, and price must be %100 paid before I ship. If not needing shipping price can be payed in person or thru PayPal. Now welded, galvanized, and primed steel tubing sizes from 1"-1.5", with base price being 1" welded steel galvanized tube, with a$25 price increase per 1/4" width of tube. Also available in Specialty Painted steel or bed liner brand of your choice. Pick color, finish, and sheen of your choice, etc. Also can be painted factory matching colors, with color code provided. all bed liner or factory matched $75 extra. Bed liner tinted to factory matched $100 extra. hammered texturing or wrinkle finish $25 extra in basic colors. Or, If you send me a quart of your desired coating I will spray the rails for just $15 extra, 3 coats, and ship the remaining paint with the rails for any possible touchups needed. Powder coating and chrome coming soon! All other parts will come primed flat black if no preference is specified, or as bare steel if you prefer.

Also, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that have liked my threads and of course all the messages showing interest or just plain enthusiasm. I couldn't keep doing this without you guys, and last but not least, everyone that has orders currently placed or has bought in the past, you the real MVPS!!
