OEM fender flares for 92-99 suburban

I stand corrected; when I first heard about this I stared at a 2WD and 4WD at the junkyard until I convinced myself I could see a difference.

OEM fender flares for 92-99 suburban

My understanding was that there's different versions based on 4x4 or 4x2, with the 4x4's being wider. Based on the above photo, neither would be wide enough. Edit - same 4x4 vs 4x2, see post #9.

    Clutch pedal bracket mounting

There's two different clutch master cylinders used on these trucks, the early one with the metal body and diagonal studs was used 88-91, then the plastic one with horizontal studs was used for the rest of the run. The earlier automatic trans trucks did not come with the upper bracket welded to...

Brake lights go on when ignition turned on

Find a wiring diagram and look for common points in what you're seeing (I don't have one that new or I'd share), for example both of those rear lights come on with the 4-way flasher (front lights would likely both be on too though). Does the 3rd brake light still function properly? Usually when...

    Has anyone seen this before?

The bed floor brace is notched due to the aftermarket shackle, the spring would hit the notch there. A stock shackle has the top eye below the top of the frame rail. Do you have a pic of the hangers too? It's likely got lowering hangers as well for a combined drop of 4" in the rear, which...

    1988 GMC C1500 - Z06 Package!

Awesome project, what's the plan for the suspension?

    Ls swap fuel gauge ??

What did you change as far as your fuel system goes? Are you still using the stock sending unit in the tank? If it worked before your swap, focus on what changed. I think you're on the right track with the ground, check the connector back at the sender, not the one up at the firewall. My gauge...

    6.0 ls swapped 95c1500

I'm sorry I don't recall and don't have those wheels anymore. There was plenty of clearance with my setup though. On the inside it's going to be your leaf springs you need to watch for clearance, should be pretty easy to measure with a straight edge and a tape measure.

    work truck A pillar trim?

It had the push clip "christmas tree" clips through the headliner and inner layer of cab roof in that area, plus a few across the front rather than the velcro pads.

    6.0 ls swapped 95c1500

I'm guessing there's a wheel thread in here somewhere with tons of photos, but here's my truck with 275/55R17's on 17"x9" Cragar Soft 8's with 5" backspacing I'm almost positive they were p/n 3978950. This was lowered 2/4 with coils in the front, shackles and hangers in the rear. Fitment was...

    6.0 ls swapped 95c1500

There's lots of good tools on this page, both the comparison calculator on the left and the comparison charts further down the page, that might help you find something. I've got some 275/55R17 Toyo's that handle a lot better than the 275/60R15 Radial T/A's I had previously. I found the T/A's...

Overland K1500 Silverado Project "Old Red"

I skimmed over most things so maybe covered, but you'll have to re-do all of the axle and shock mounts, which gives a good opportunity to get your pinion dialed in. If you don't have the axle already, some years will have discs vs drums (and SUV's have dual piston calipers vs single on the...

    6.0 ls swapped 95c1500

    3) The LS engines use the same style of Saginaw pump that the GMT400's came with, factory lines should work just fine (I didn't do hydroboost, so can't confirm that part). The Hydroboost pumps just have an extra return to the reservoir. It's easy to swap reservoirs if you want to go that route...

OEM Caps for '88 w/Steel Wheels

Yes that's it correct, the actual lug nuts align between the fake allen head ones on the cap. The metal semi circles clip against the lugnut along the tapered section where it seats against the wheel. I have some clipped onto my wheels with the external threads but they would work with normal...
