V6 to V8 swap

My current truck, a 1998 GMC Sierra, has a Vortec 4.3 in it and I would like to go with a Vortec 5.7 I've looked and haven't been able to find much on the subject. I'm just curious on how hard it would be. If I can get the same mileage, out of a bigger engine, with more power, I might as well...

1998 GMC

Later this week I will be picking up this 1998 GMC. It's an auto with the 4.3 in it. I would like to level it/ lower the back end, put some black "NASCAR" wheels and different tires on it, tint the windows, possibly color match the mirrors and grille. Along with all the other piddly little...
