    AMD replacement rf fender and door

    The gauge of the steel is VERY light! I purchased all new sheet metal from AMD a few years back for my '66 Chevelle SS and the quality was very good compared to these parts.     Screws behind fender in front of cowl?

    Doe anyone know what these screws are for? Replacing the front fender and door and noticed some deteriorated rubber debris falling out from the lower cowl area when I removed the fender and these screws left. Some kind of weather shield? Just curious about it thanks.
