obd1 code 22 Throttle Position Sensor

Haven’t been on the forum in a while as this semester has kept me busy, so I apologize if I’ve missed some responses on my other posts. Unfortunately with the new year a new code has come up on the burb. Code 22, throttle position sensor. I was previously dealing with a code 35 i believe the...

    7.4L backfire under load

Backfire into exhaust. Cut off the cat- didn’t change anything. Was thinking about pulling valves to look for carbon build up. No, the one wire connector is under the dash on the passenger side on my truck. Most likely going to take it to a shop first thing monday and have them run...

    7.4L backfire under load

Alright so here’s the deal. I’ve got a 94 k2500 burb with the 7.4 tbi. About a month and a half ago i started having misfiring issues. Did the distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Adjusted the timing as you should with a tbi (warming it up, unplugging the computer under the glove box...

    What is this vacuum connection

I suspect this connection (yellow) may be one of the causes to my misfire/timing problems on my 7.4 burb. I didn’t notice it because there was no hose or anything. my question is, is there supposed to be a hose there and if so where does it lead? If not, do i plug it? I ran some vapor through...

    Strange power/throttle response :454 burb

put in bwd injectors because the ones i ordered from summit kept getting back ordered and weren’t gonna get here in time for me to leave so i was forced to get bwd from advanced auto. Fuel pressure’s good- i’ve replaced the pump and filter already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Strange power/throttle response :454 burb

haven’t been able to put any miles on it with the new injectors because it would die as soon as i have it any throttle. I replaced the entire distributor then warmed her up to adjust the timing. when i was adjusting it to 0 degrees it idles real low then died. Tried to start it again and it...

    Strange power/throttle response :454 burb

got the new injectors in today- it’s still running rough if not more. When i tried to drive it it stalls out when given gas. I leave for college on saturday and this is killing me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah that’s what’ve i’ve heard, of course after the fact of installing the blue streaks. I’m probably going to install when the injectors come in and if that doesn’t do it then i’ll pull the distributor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No check engine lights- just ordered new injectors from summit today. I’ll use the scanner to see if it’s throwing codes tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you use delco cap and rotor? I’ve been having similar issues and I suspect my injectors because I’ve already replaced cap, rotor, coil, wires, plugs with no resolve. However, I used Bluestreak all the way through minus wires and plugs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    7.4 tbi timing issue

Would it be possible to just connect a timing light to the wire and just see if the light flashes? Because it only flashes when a spark goes down the wire, yes? thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
