Waiting on my rod bender to come soon to make those bends even tighter. Also the lower section of the handle rods shown below will be threaded after all. Tapping the unbent stock went great, hence the annealed alloy.

So I broke down a tracked down a full set of rods pawls and handles for 65$ shipped. Not to shabby. Instead of free handing them from photos like my prototypes, I can mold them and free hand bend them to the dimensions needed. They should show up some time next well after Christmas hopefully...
So for a follow up for today. I tried tapping the rod and that did not go smoothly as hoped[emoji17]. So I’m going to make a mold so I can accurately place a small bolt on the end and tack weld it in place.
