I was worried of the same thing also was worried of the LEDs putting off to much heat and melting the plexiglass. But with it flush up against the plexiglass the glare is reduced significantly and the light output is nearly the same
Thanks! And if y'all have to have that then yeah wouldn't make much sense. But I love the way yours looks, never seen anything like it! And I put the plexiglas cover cause I go down gravel roads a lot and wouldn't wanna break the glass on the light bar. With my luck lol
Because my truck before hand had two driving lights that came straight from the factory in the bumper, so to make it easier I just cut the center piece out and grinded it down until smooth and straight, will upgrade and get a 30"when the bills get paid lol
Hey guys, I'm still getting used to this forum and I recently got a LED light bar for Christmas and decided to mount it differently than I've seen. Mounted inside the bumper with a plexiglass cover over that bar protecting it further and makes it harder to steal, check it out and tell me what...
Around where I live light bars are becoming a big thing and instead of mounting it on the roof bumper or behind the grill I decided to do something different, check it out
