    5.7 TBI to 5.3 LM7

The goal was to install the starter to finish the electrical. Learned the hard way that an LS flywheel does not connect to a non LS 4l60E. ICT carries a flywheel for multiple applications. Threw the jack in under the transmission. Unbolted the cross member and slide it and transfer case back...

    92 ls swap

The red wire I followed off of the battery bus. It supplies power to the headlights and to the CTSY and Park LPS fuses. You don't have a fuse to your headlights, it is the fuseable link from the battery bus.

The green and purple wire are from the speed transducer from the transmission or transfer case. Should be connected to the DRAC unit also behind the glove box. Wireing diagram might call it a VSS Buffer. The red wire is from the battery bus from the engine compartment firewall. When I get home...

I like your set up. I still might consider it. I'll also look for the double din in the original spot and move the heater controls.

Night Bomber thanks for the ideas for installing a rheostat for the power steering EVO. I found something easier for my circumstances. Dorman makes a Steering Bypass kit. It removes the EVO and installs an adapter and tube.

    5.7 TBI to 5.3 LM7

Instead of going through the wiring harness that came with the engine I purchased one from Painless Wiring. Which was a good thing. The seller cut out the injector harnesses. Between Painless Wiring and my print outs from All Data DIY as well as a lot of patience with a voltmeter I believe...
