    Largest tires for 92 k1500

    Im running 285/75r16s on a 16X8 rim with 4.25 BS, Aftermarket keys cranked about 2 inches just about a finger thickness of the upper a-arm touching the droop stop, not rubbing and rides good.

    Thats a shame the easy mods don't work very good and that it takes a $1000 kit to gain 4 inches!

    TBI sensitive off idle

    I had that problem and I replaced the throttle cable and fixed it, the bends get wore out and creates a sticky spot, I took the cable off and in a straight line it worked fine but with the big "S" it was very sticky, also clean you tbi plates with carb cleaner and paper towels.

    If you placed the ball joint on the bottom of the A-Arm and took out the knock outs would that allow proper alignment?

    Crank them and watch your upper A-Arm until it has about a 1/2" from hitting the "droop stop, also watch your shock length shocks, thats what gives a bad ride also, I just went thru all this last week. I want to go higher but don't want the a-arms to hit so???

    Today installed the front shocks and sway bar end links, Cranked the keys up another full turn and the A-Arms are about 3/8s off the droop stop and it rides really well, im done for now. Now moving on to other things on the truck.

    Who makes them for the company, I got the two front ones so far and while I haven't put them on yet today, they look solid and built bigger than stockers or KYB that I took off. I got the 2" longer ones.
