    Cammed vortec doesnt start without opening throttle!?!

    Are you certain you lined everything up right putting the cam in with relation to the crank and the distributor in relation to the cam? Sounds like you might be a tooth off, it's worth a check.

    Driver's side cover is a bit of a pain cause you have to slide the AC bracket forward to clear the cover to get it off. I do it all the time to mess with this or that under the cover. If you DON'T want to pull the cover, the other way to do it is as you turn the motor put your finger on the #1...

    Cut the tube and pinched it off. Still passes visual and the EGR solenoid doesn't seem to care. No code, passed two years without any issues.

    I run Hooker Competition headers intended for a 1992-1995 Silverado, they're 1 5/8" primaries to 2.5" collecters. Bolts up fine, fitment is perfect no problems. I'd recommend buying locking header bolts with it and using a good quality gasket. I also changed the 3 bolt flanges out for Flowmaster...

    Lt4 hotcam in my 98... Ive searched!

    I've got a Comp 224/230 @ .050 .530/.536 lift with 1.6 rockers, same spring/retainer setup in my Burb with the same engine as you, practically exact same setup. You'll want a stall to run it though, I have a 3000 stall in my truck with 4:11 gears and it's incredible.

    Blew my factory L31 letting my buddy drive my truck on the freeway, truck had a TransGo HD-2 in it with command shift and my buddy pulled the shifter from 3rd to 2nd instead of third to 4th at 90mph WOT rod came out, it was pretty gnarly

    95 TBI long tubes worked fine for me port-wise, should do perfectly for you.
