The common 1 to 2 shift can be bad sometimes. But it really seems to get weird on the highway, if you need to downshift suddenly and then go back into 4, it does so roughly both times. Which is why on my test drive of it I didnt notice.
Just bought this clean 96 Tahoe. Kinda wanted a pre 95 suburban, but this was my dream color combo. Paid $3500. Sadly the 4L60e seems to be shifting kinda rough the more I drive it. Despite those issues this truck should have loads of life in it, only 109K miles :)
I recently purchased a 1996 Tahoe. It needs new headlights as the old lenses are fogged and cracked. I was curious if it was possible to fit the older style 4 sealed beams that were used on the 88-89 trucks. I know it would look strange bit it would be something different. I know the grill...
