Cut the side of the trans housing off, it turned out fine after that. I should have cut it from the start it would have saved a couple scratches from my impatience

On the exhaust side of my build I went with Schoenfeld pn# 1314-3, 1 3/4" primaries 3" collector. I'm running a turbo 350 trans and the headers are not clearing. They hit the frame on one side and the trans bell housing where the starter sits. It's a high torque starter with a big aluminum...

I absolutely understand your point of view, but the work is scheduled and parts are purchased, I'm going to go through with the build. It may involve different transmissions along the way but the powerplant is going to be the 406cu with a milder cam if nothing else, maybe aftermarket fuel...
