Anybody remove the chrome trim panels on their truck?
Be sure to use a generous amount of heat, when I took mine off I got tired of pulling them off and went a little too fast. The paint came off with the strips on my cab corners. ditching lift blocks for just a spring lift?
My RCSB has a 6inch rough country lift, with the 4.5inch blocks I was replacing u joints all the time (every 4-6 months.) Once I did a shackle flip kit, ORD is where I got mine, it changed my pinion angle back to stock and I haven't had an issue since. Ditch the blocks and stupidly long u-bolts...- 98slv

Offset/wider stance
Yeah you'll need a 20x14 or 22x14 to get that much offset. Otherwise you'll need four 2 inch spacers (on each side to get anywhere close to that stance. running 1.6:1 high ratio Scorpion narrow tip aluminum roller rockers with factory springs and cam. Ran good for 2 or 3 years but I think with 203k on factory springs they are getting weak. Can't find the source of this coolant leak
Those spring style clamps are junk. You need to get a worm clamp at your local parts store. It will be adjustable so you can tighten it down, just tell them which hose it is and they'll get you the right size. When you put them on wash it up and watch for any leaks.- 98slv
