Yes it is and from my research you are correct it is better. I’m just worried that it won’t fit correctly because the brackets and rubber mounts are made for a wider condenser. Also, this design has a much smaller fins/slots which may limit airflow or could get clogged easier. the main radiator...
I recently have taken off the grille to get at the condenser. I noticed the core support connection to the front body mounts and one of them is very rusty and crumbling, the other side is better but does show some rust but is not crumbly flaking like the left side. The truck is in very good...
I have 1995 Suburban with rear AC
I am replacing my condenser and have taken off the grille and compared the original condenser in the truck with the replacement I got from Summit. The part number is AC Delco 15-6814 and GM number on the box is 52458719. This issue is the new one is only about...
I went back to my 1995 manual and there is a section on DRL, but my Suburban does not have them.
This also explained what the other unknown part that I found was for - the small pcb in a plastic housing also under the dash. I believe it is the module for DRL- see pictures...
But on my 1995...
Oh that's why I don't have one on my 1995 suburban. Thanks
What year did they start using DRL? I need to find a schematic to understand why/how this is used.
I was at the pick a part today getting some small parts for my suburban. I was working on a 1997 suburban when behind the dash I found this odd looking part, it was bolted to the tube dash support in the center area. I know its some type of resistor with a large heat sink. It had a number on it...
My 1995 Burb does not have the external relay either. 1995 was a transition year a mix between the 1994 version interior/dash/controls and the 1996 when the Vortex design came out.
I checked my 1995 service manual but does it not show anything there. But the manuals sometime show options in...
