I am still searching the forum but have not run across the answer yet so I am going to ask the question. I recently picked up a 60/40 bench out of a 1994 extended cab. I installed the drivers seat with no issues. The other half of the seat however is a different story. The seat is to tall when sitting on top of the center hump. Is the hump on the 88 taller than a 94? Never would have guessed. Is there a different riser between 94 and 88.

Any help would be appreciated...I will continue looking on the forum.

Thanks

D.

Only thing I can think of.. I think the 2wd vs. 4wd center hump is differant... so if you are 2wd a riser from a 4wd will not work and vise versa.

Just an FYI for those that might run into this same issue, I finally got in contact with someone today that told me that there is a difference in the risers between and extended cab and regular cab truck for the 60/40 seat. That would be the source of my problem. So now back to the yard to see if I can lay hands on the correct riser for the reg. cab.

I'm curious also. Do you use a standard bench seat risers for the passenger side?

Installed 95 model 40/60 in a 94, having the same issue but drivers side (60 part). Is it just the inner riser on the 60 portion that needs to be changed?

Sorry been away from the forum for awhile. It was the inner most of the 60 portion (passenger near hump) You need to get the inner riser from another 60/40 bench that was in a regular cab. This will lower your 60 portion of the bench down enough to be level with the driver 40 portion. Hope this helps.
