Thanks, Not looking forward to do it, but the driver side valve cover has a hole and is leaking pretty good. I picked up a set of chrome ones last year and have been trying to find the time to swap them

If you've messed with these motors it all it's honestly not that hard. For the drivers side don't be hard headed, go ahead and undo that vacuum line (if yours is TBI) and it will be much easier...trust me lol

I didn't undo anything I was stubborn as hell and tore um out lol

I'm not sure what is different on a vortec that would need to be moved. Probably pretty similar.

It took me less than an hour to change them. Thanks for the AC line tip. that saved me the time. Hardest part was unbolting the rear bracket that holds that vacuum pipe in place, got that bolt out and moved the pipe upwards, swapped that side in about 30 minutes. The other side came out easy once I pulled the line off the compressor.

Bumpers are shipping tomorrow! Also made an appointment today to get the exhaust work done Friday morning.
