In canada...... :p

Canadian Tire, UAP, Lordco, Carquest, etc.

Other than that, you're ordering out of the states or eBay.

something like this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Chevy-GMC-Ta...Parts_Accessories&hash=item35b42aff7f&vxp=mtr

Or the upgraded servo actuator for not much more: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/APDTY-260600...Parts_Accessories&hash=item51ad967fc9&vxp=mtr

It would also help is you at least had "Canada" in your avatar as a location.

Most guys here don't have a crystal ball....

Which vehicles came with five pin actuators. I'm having trouble distinguishing between actuators when searching online. It seems that they all say they fit my application, but I don't want to order it and then have to return it.

Thanks for the site greatwhite. Northern ontario only has Napa and Parts Source and both are in the $120 mark. EBay will charge me import fees and shipping and tax, so it will end up being almost the same price.

I will continue looking

Wait, what?

What is a 5 pin?

Are you talking about the front axle actuators?

The TLA has two wires (IE: pins) the Servo has a plug with 5 connectors (although there is only 3 wires IIRC).

The TLA was until about 1998 when they switched over to the servo (gawd knows whats actually in there after all these years though). The servo was the front axle actuation method until the model line ended in 2001/2.

The transmission makes no difference to the front axle actuator type.

:)

Is it shipping ups or fedex?

If it is, you can toss at least another 30 bucks on it for "brokerage fees"

You get charged that by the courier companies and they don't reveal that little gem until they're standing at the door with your item.

If you don't pay up, they don't give it to you.

To add insult to injury, they usually charge you another 5 bucks or so for COD charges to collect that brokerage fee.
