anybody here fab up heavy duty rear bumpers to sell ? im looking to have one built for my 1997 k3500, either with integrated hitch reciever or using stock one. ive got a 2" body lift so id like it made to compensate for that without using raising brackets, a direct bolt on with hitch at stock hight just 2" taller to cover gap from the lift. want it bare/no paint as ill rhino line it. lets see what ya build.

ive always wanted to get a square bumper and put 4 offroad 4" 5" or 6" lights with the hid conversion and have them integrated in the bumper and then put maybe 2 inch spikes so whoever rear ends me will regret it lol

Whatever you do, do not eliminate your hitch for one integrated to the bumper. Your hitch is designed to pull heavy loads, your bumper will not be.

Or you could integrate the old hitch into your new bumper like I'm planning...hopefully it will give me more strength when towing

The hitch is bolted to the frame, the very same frame a ground up designed bumper could be.

Why would there be any difference? It's not like hitches are built from anything special other than the seamless reciever tube which is easily sourced.

Exactly...my plan is to cut the hitch mounts and then weld them to the brackets on the bumper so in effect the bumper will be a biigger extended version of the stock hitch
