I am the only owner of this truck. I bought it when I was 26 and it had 5 miles on it. I just had it repainted and hopefully going to restore it back to better days. Thanks for the replies.
Since it has sentimental value, keep the truck, buy a cheap little shitbox and with your gas savings you'll be money ahead.

That would save about $1200/year at an average price per gallon of $3.50. Now take insurance and registration for the little car out of that and you're left with what, $700 a year savings? So it would take 5 years just to break even on a cheap, $3500 car. Minus any repairs that cheap car needs in 5 years.
You could buy a better car. Say $7000. Then it will take 10 years to break even, if nothing goes wrong.

I purchased my 93 Silverado from the original owner in about 95 with less than 30k on it. It now has around 215k and the very best milage I've ever gotten was like 19.8 or so!
You gotta say more than just 93 Silverado. What motor, what transmission?
