Speaking of cutting out lenses to clear bulbs, cut the circle out a tad smaller than a blue/red-dot for a headlight, and then mount a blue/red dot lens over the hole. That might look interesting, plus the blue dots are made of semi-thick plastic lens that is tinted heavily, so using dome-type LEDs would be good, because they already give a spotlight effect, which would get dimmed heavily by the colored lens of the dot. Just an idea :)

Close The red leds I got are gonna be for my headlights Im gonna put a 194 socket in both wired to a switch and Im hoping when I hit the power it will make the headlights glow red! Obviously that will be for when Im parked and cruising at shows etc not for driving down the rd the haters would pull me over Im sure

Door switch panel takes type-194, and it takes either 2 or 3 bulbs per panel, can't remember. The 4x4 takes (2) type-194's also.

MOBS that's a big negative on 194's in the switch panel :nono: Damn it. Of course it doesn't take the bulbs I need. These are the pictures of the bulbs that go in the bottom of my switch panel I haven't seen anything like them honestly. It took a tiny flat head screw driver to turn it clock wise then pull it out and I believe I broke the tiny bulb from the twistlock trying to remove it...:nono: SO now I'm sure I need these tiny weird bulbs AND twistlocks FUUUUUU

Here are the pics and in my switch panel there are (2) of these type bubs I was talking about but the big one (blue one) goes directly under the window switches then I noticed a smaller one (grey) on the corner on one side of the locks so I have no idea what these are if anyone could tell me what they are and if it's possible to buy these damned twistlocks too that'd really be great. I should have known better than to believe there were 194's in there.
Here's the bigger blue one under the window switches. It WAS working :nono:

Damn it my computer is not letting me copy the link and the IMG link is not working.....it won't let me click smileys on the side or anything. This is really not my day...

Mobs my bad man I def didn't mean to seem like I was aggravated at you for suggesting they were 194's lol I've already learned that 95 is the red headed step child of gm400's especially when it comes to bulbs...Could be anything anywhere. I was more frustrated about that but anyway it's hard to convey emotion and tone sometimes on the forums but you know that but I just sent ya a pm with these pics.

Blue is the slightly larger one for the window switches, then a pic of where it twists into the bottom of the switch panel, then lastly the smaller grey twist lock with what must be a smaller bulb in there. I need to pull the headlight switch bulb and compare it to see what all I will need :nono: Ohhh how I wish there were 194's in there. So your switches def do have the 194's eh??

That is a row of LEDs that are out, it's usually a broken/loose contact in-between them.

SP, I know, I'm just irritated at all the differences....plus I'm aggrivated heavily at GM because there is no replaceable upper dash for our truck that is beefed up, and the stock replacements are just as thin as stock with the crappy holes for the bezel clips. I now can accelerate or hit a few bumps and my upper half of bezel comes undone and falls off onto steering column. :nono: too much negativity going on around here right now....i'm ready to release some frustration, I need someone to initiate a zombie apocalipse.

MOBS I had the same exact problem with my upper dash. All of the clips broke out of it and every bump it wanted to come out. I had some double sided 3M adhesive tape laying around so I ran a line of it across the top line of the dash and it works amazing and when it's time to pull it off it comes off easy. Now that the top is so sturdy though it's made a rattle where the cargo light switch and all that clips in. Well I have to take it off again to put my HVAC bulbs in so I'm going to run some double sided tape behind that section to seal off any rattles. It only rattles as soon as I hit 55 mph too but I figured that would help u. It works amazingly well.
