I found this today thought you guys may like this-

"No person may operate any vehicle on a highway if modifications
have been made to the suspension system, axles, chassis
or exhaust system of the vehicle which cause any portion of the
vehicle, except the tires, to extend below lines drawn from the bottom
of each wheel rim to the points of contact between the tires
on the opposite side and opposite end of the vehicle and the level
surface on which the vehicle stands"

Luckily I doubt that law gets Enforced I think that has to be more of a gray law. Unless the officer that pulls you over is a ass, you should be good. I've never seen/gotten pulled over for being to low, i have however seen lifted trucks pulled over and a cop is standing by there rear bumper with a tape measure lol

California bans all kinds of crazy things like dual exhuasts, any modified exhaust, it HAS to be coming out the back. Even though 90% of cars either have duals/a modification/or it comes out the side stock lol.
