Shorted the new wire I put in. Three layers of heat shrink over it now.

Found a replacement dd! So now it can get parked and have some extensive work done without being in a rush. Hoping to fix quite a few things over the summer.

Brow is 5% no sense in getting lighter. It's just there to block the sun so I don't have to flip my visors down. Between the factory light tint job up there and the brow and my Oakleys I can look at the sun directly and I see a perfect circle. There's no glare around it lol. I also cant see anything else up there. I have to sit back a ways from stop lights. I can't always see the green until it's dark out.

Not sure if I had explained this here before but I parked the truck due to having some vibrations that I couldn't quite pinpoint. Right before I parked it the tcase began making sounds. Bad sounds. I finally got to it and I realized why I had never checked it. Fill plug was jammed in the hole and wouldn't move. So I popped the drain plug. Not even a quarter of a quart of black, shimmery burnt trans fluid. Got the driveshafts shafts off and spun the front yoke and nice grindy sounds by the input shaft. Dropped the tcase and found just what I had figured. Magnet covered in metal. Inside was dry.

Bought a used tcase for it and got it in. Truck drives just like it used to. Ran a little rough at first since it hadn't been out of the garage in almost 6 months but man did it feel good to drive it again. Need a couple small items still to finish up the swap but it was good for a short drive. Even hooked up to the new toy and towed it around town a little. I'm so very relieved. After driving it again I really don't think I could live with myself if I got rid of it. If course I had to stop and take pics.

I even got lucky and the air still blows Frost. Just need a front yoke nut and I'll be driving it to work. Probably could benefit from some fresh fuel. She starts a little rough but I left the battery hooked up the whole time it sat.
