I'm trying to figure out how to make a y merge style pipe. Dual 2.5" into 3" outlet. The 2.5 have to be 5.25 center to center. I could buy a premade one but I don't like the way they look. They don't appear to flow well.

Example: seems like it would create turbulence..

Am I over thinking this?

That does look better how would I mate that up to a set of pipes that run parallel? They look like they come out angle away from each other

I have one of these myself, and my pipes run parallel also, I just run them close together until the Y.
