Painted my wheels almost the same way I painted my other ones, just used self-etching primer all around instead on the outer lip.. Not going to include my prep, since other members ride my as$ for every little thing i do, but it should stick alot better since these wheels weren't polished aluminum. I still used the same paint though. and instead of masking off everything, i just used dish soap on the tires to keep paint from getting on them.

The self-etching primer makes a good military-green color.:shooter:

I also re-colormatched the frame and tie rods.. I liked it alot better like that, adds a custom touch:imo:

FINALLY!!! I love this truck. how did you make the things on either side of the license plate?

I made those out of some thin sheet metal awhile back to cover a HUGEE Dent on the size of my truck. Wasn't that hard to make. i just cut out like some squares and bent them into shape and screwed them into the plastic plate housing. It wasnt hard to make

Not trying to "bash" but I would guess that's why your paint chips off from mud.
