Tire question.....

Hi everyone...

I have another wheel/tire question....I'm looking into drag racing with my truck. I'm wondering what's the widest tire that will fit under the stock wheel wells. My truck is lowered 4/6 I have soft 8's on it right now. My other question is, what back spacing would I need to tuck the wheels like a 10 inch wide wheel, under my step side bed. Thanks for the future info and sorry if this question has already been asked.

295? We have 275/60 15s on my dads camaro and that's a decent size tire

Apparently you would Need a 30mm offset or 6.75" bs to tuck a 10" wheel

Ok thanks, I guess I'm going to have to get 2 more soft 8's and have them widen. Thanks again for the info

I tuck 295's. If the fenders where rolled you could easily tuck 315's I bet.
