Good looking truck. I've got a 1998 Suburban the same color green. When I blacked out my grille, I painted the bowtie with the duplicolor matching paint. Looks pretty good and is a subtle touch to make it stand out a little more.

Here's a pic with the blacked out bumper and grille guard on

Thanks. The bumper was a salvage yard find. It came off a late 90s diesel truck. The holes are factory cut for airflow. I put lights. I need to get some better lights though. These do ok, but I think it should be a bit brighter.

Next project I did over the summer was take care of that rust on the rocker panels. Thanks to Minnesota road salt they were rusted out pretty bad.. They were a lot worse than I thought they were going to be, but they also turned out a lot better than I thought. I first started by taking a wire brush and Dremel tool to the rockers to get it all down to good metal.. I then took a wire brush all the way around to get it down to bare metal. Next up I put 3 coats of fiberglass over the hole and that turned out really solid. Then filled in the imperfections with some body filler and smoothed it out. To finish it off, I coated the rocker panels and about an inch up on the bottom of the doors with herculiner. I did about 3 coats of that and I'm really happy with how it turned out. No more rust! For now..

I like what you did with the spray-on bed liner. I'm stealing that idea for my truck haha xD

Some idiot crashed into my truck in the school parking lot. There seems to be no body damage, but the upper ball joint and hopefully not too many more front end parts are toast.. Was his fault so I should be getting the money to fix it up soon!

It's still in the shop.. They are estimating the cost right now and the other guys insurance company is paying for it. They found a new replacement rim in California and got it shipped here and the other front end parts should be replaced early next week. My dad got a rental car for the time being (a 2015 ram with the 5.7 hemi) and I'm driving his car aka The Hoe. My truck should be back on the road soon! Also here's a picture of the OBS I'm currently driving
