Tons brighter. Wish I could use better bulbs or hid.

I put Philips XtremePower 9006 lows and OSRAM Night Breaker 9005 highs in my stock headlight assemblies. Those, with a 12 ga 4HI wiring harness, and polished lenses made a huge difference. Both are Euro market bulbs, can be a bit hard to find, but Amazon often has them in stock.

Went out to the garage and messed with them for a few. Hot like the sun out there so I wasn't out long.

Someone sure didn't know how to weld when they put those shock mounts on. Cut that crap off first thing and redo it the right way.

Looks good. Just be careful, Mine got damaged and I'm so glad I didn't weld the corners like that.

Thanks

Yeah I'd hate for someone to hit me since I have no bumper. I'm careful when I back up. If it ever got hurt I'd just buy a new bed. Be a reason to go stepside.

Got under the truck today and looked at the rear notch and the clearance it has. Looks like soon I'm going to be notching it higher and raising the bed floor in the middle.

Going with an 8" notch & bridge. It'll be bagged soon anyway so I might as well.

Here's some pictures of the clearance, or lack of.

Replaced the carrier bearing today. Was torn and separated from the rubber surround. Bearing was fine just the surround. Ended up cutting it off and pressing the new one on.

Made that tool on the right to press the new one on with.

Fun day at the shop. I notched the rear in preparation for airride in the future. Slowly but surely.

Typical Monday. Got ran off the road avoiding a bad accident and ruined my right front wheel and ripped the valance up on the bottom of the bumper.
