Anyways, here in TX, beans are against the rules.
The Texans I know put beans in their chili. Do you put beans in your burrito?
Potted coffee in the teacher's lounge and at district office is usually burnt, so having a Kuerig option is nice.
My wife doesn't drink coffee, so I use a Keurig. I have a refillable cup, and I fill it with Folgers. It ain't gourmet, but they work hard to make a neutrally flavored coffee every year. I've had worse "gourmet" coffee.
Yeah, Cowboy Coffee is the best. Just throw the grounds in a kettle/pot and let it brew. The grounds add a little crunch to go with it.
When I was an full-time AF Reservist, the first guy to arrive to the shop in the morning brewed a pot of coffee. We had one guy who was really good at showing up early, but he would just throw a fresh scoop of coffee onto the previous days' grounds. He called it "cowboy coffee". If he got there several days in a row, it was a week's worth of old, moldy grounds. It was horrible. We finally told him he was banned from making coffee.
Funny thing, when I moved to scheduling, I ran a snack bar in our office that provided funds for our retirement/baby shower/loss of a loved one gifts. In the mornings I always had free coffee. That snack bar made soooo much money from people stopping by for free coffee - especially the Chiefs.
