If you can't afford to fix a head gasket, you can't afford another vehicle. I guess you'll be walking or taking the bus.

Update: It was running good, getting a lot better, but smoking intermittently usually when warm at idle. Then a couple days ago...poof. Head gasket failed. Truck is DOA. Bummer, I really liked it. Can't afford to fix it, so it's heading off down the line.

Hopefully "down the line" means sold to someone that will fix it, because that isn't a big or expensive job.

You can get all of the gaskets for under $75.00, add at tube of RTV and 5 qts of oil and a filter. For an afternoon of you time and $150.00 your truck is back on the road.
