Ok, so I decided to make an attempt at painting the rims myself. The first one, I spent a good 45 minutes using tape to mask just on the edge of the yellow stripe on the rim, on both sides. It was kind of a pain since the rim is curved, the tape didn't want to stick well. After getting that all done, I painted a stripe, then cleared over it. After drying, I peeled up the tape, and only about half of the paint stuck to the other stripe, and it also bled through the tape in some spots.
No biggie, it will come off with a little acetone. I took my chances and with my steady-ish hand, I used a little brush and went around two of the other rims by hand. I must say, it turned out better than I expected! You can see little flaws if you are a few inches away, but any more than 2 feet away, they look great! The stripes that came on them weren't perfect anyways, so that made me feel better. Two more and ill mount the tires up!
