Is it safe to have them redrilled like that? Logic says to me that it would wobble a bit not?

Yeah from the look's of it in the pic, the wheel isn't centered on the hub, not safe at all!

guys i have the rims for over 2 years and no problem i had them on my tahoe. i want to say i have probably 17,000 miles on the rims and there is no wobble here is a pic of my sick ass tahoe that i sold a couple of months ago. but i kept the rims

The hub not being centered may be an illusion due to the pic not being taken from staight on instead of the way the pic is angled.
