Both my trucks came with dual battery trays. '97, '98, both RCSB V6. Most of the Vortec trucks I've seen @ the P-n-P's have 'em. It's the storage boxes that are few & far between here. A cold weather, Great White North, 'only in Canada', kinda thing from GM?

Pre-Vortec trucks don't have the provision for them on the inner fender, which is a lowered relief cast into them when they're pressed.

you can put them in a tbi truck just fine you just need the washer tank that goes with it and extend the line and wires.
