Thinking about putting this on my Gen I NV4500. I have a threaded stud sticking out of the tower so I will have to custom fab some sort of plate to make the connection. For me this is a given because I have to make up my body lift height. All that nonsense should be out of sight below the shifter boot though.

Too bad the Hurst shifters are out of stock... I've had mine for about 10 years and it shifts like a dream. Greatly reduced the throw and looks good too. Just replaced the "black shift knob" with a white one. Took these pics to show off my "new seat covers" but the shifter's barely visible too...

how do you swap out the knob on nv3500?

Put an 8 ball shifter on her. Cut 1 and 1/4" offa the shifter feels SOOOOO...much better. Still gonna hafta fab up a custom shifter tho. Big round blob gotta go!!!
