i have a stock tbi 350 5spd and with 35s and 373s id spin all day long and now with 33s and 410s with a locker i can do brake stands and spin 1st and 2nd. oh and its got 220k on her

My 1993 5.0 TBI will do it easily in first, sometimes even if I start out in "2". I attribute this to Mobil 1 since it was new, as the engine is ridiculously clean (as in, it looks like a new crate motor after break in) internally.

I used to use Quaker State, but then switched to Mobil and glad I did.

2lo in my case is done by running the wires that used to go to the switch on the transfer case shift rail up to a toggle switch. Instead of locking in the front when you pull it in 4x4, i can lock or unlock whenever i please. Its really handy with the thermal actuator because you can go back and forth from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive instantly. And you get 2lo
