Glad both of you have posted your thoughts, upon removal of the water pump fitting, and seeing that the outlet hose with a date code of 061895 and the water pump having a stamped GM part number on it and upon removal of the WP QD fitting I found it to be the restricted style, so I'm not sure what's supposed to be there, with that being said it DOES not mean that it wasn't changed out at some point, thats why I'm trying to find out what is what while trying to order parts, if the opinion is that the fitting at the WP should not be a restricted style fitting I'm good with that, because I could use a full open style fitting allowing me to route that heater hose in a matter that I want to, I'd like to bring it back behind the A/C compressor and then over to the inner fender and into the factory holder and then to the heater core, I feel this would "clean up" the look a little better. I ordered a radiator for a manual transmission truck without the EOC and TOC fittings molded into the side tanks, the truck came with an engine oil cooler that is mounted in front of the condenser, I will be going with a Hayden oil cooler for the tranny that I will mount on to the inside of the frame on the passenger side about where the space of the cab and bed are. If the WP fitting is the restricted style, then thats the way I will go back with it as it left the factory. But if I can use the full open fitting that goes into the WP without any adverse affects to the engine/heater core I would like to really go that route.

Well she's tore down as far as needed, a little more clean up and reassemble it, hopefully with no leaks! All of those parts off just for a manifold leak!!
In the 3rd photo does anybody know what that nipple is used for, the bottom one goes to the EGR valve at least durning the tear down thats where the vacuum line was going to and the one above that had nothing, engine ran great before the tear down, the 4th photo is a better view of the 3rd photo.

Man that looks nice!!! What type of intake is that? I like the timing cover! Did you have any "special" work done to it, cylinders bored over, port & polish the intake/head runners, cam?! Is that already installed or are you in the process of doing it now?

Made a little more forward progress, I'm into it this far, figure I may as well rebuild the TBI, anybody redone there's lately and what injectors did you go with? Thanks for any input on them!
