The dash has been painted grey. When I started pulling it apart - tan underneath. It doesn’t look like the original seat. Everything else is grey.

that is correct!Looks like somebody was trying to change the interior color to gray. Wore spot on driver's door panel looks tan. Tan seat belts, but gray cover at the bottom. All the gray looks too dark to be factory.
It has GMC mudflaps, but identifies as a Chevy.Wow, that's the exact same grey as my truck, and the first time I have seen the same arm rest as well. Is it a GMC?
I can and will - good question! I have no idea on the mileage and forgot to look at the pedals. Can you post a picture of the brake & accelerator pedals?
One side wore out hard - like you said, the other side not too bad. Maybe just one guy/girl putting all the miles on so that passenger side didn't wear? It was a school plow truck for the 1st part of it's life. The scuffing on the door sill tells me 250k.

Ah! It was a campus truck. That's important information. I'll adjust my guess to 88,000 of easy miles but tons of wear in weird places. I'm gonna guess the door hinges are trashed, the bed is dented inside, and the wiring hacks are bad. The only low-mileage trucks that get abused harder are Air Force flightline bobtails. It was a school plow truck for the 1st part of it's life.
This exactly!I'm gonna guess the door hinges are trashed, the bed is dented inside, and the wiring hacks are bad.
